Default notice the ...."more to come" in the post above

Im currerntly running 14-15 psi
-my egt's are still very low
-my o2 sensor voltage is right on the money
-my injector duty cycles are geting high but not maxed out

Audi2ptzero when you say stage 3, if you are refering to apr they use 360's....same injectors I am using now. They are out of a 225hp TT and actually are more like 410's at 4 bar
820's are over kill

xr4tic 440's on a 2.0 with a much bigger port head then a vw head. Do you think that would make a big difference??

42lb ford motor sport injectors with a walbro inline pump are next up

car will be on a dyno with a wide band o2 before i go any further

Default Only the 2000 kit for the apr stage 3 and the 2001 PES T28 kit uses the 225TT injector

the rest of the years all use 440cc injectors. They actually rate those injectors 380cc at 3 bar and 450cc at 4 bar. You might be able to push the hp limit to close to 430 hp on 550cc injectors at 4 bar. I am aiming for 500 hp and plan on running 750cc at 3 bar.

Default I have a dealer print out saying the 225 injectors are 360's????

I hope they are 380's
even if they 380 are still smaller 450 at 4bar....I have acutally been thinking about having one flow tested, its only a few bucks and there is a good injector guy near me.

http://www.injector.com/

The car is front wheel drive and I dont plan on building a motor anytime soon...so my horse power goals are much lower then yours =). In fact I still and optimic about being able to reach them the the injectors I have now.

360,380,390
what ever they are they seem to be working out for me right now, have the correct spray patern for the 1.8t motor and I picked them up for a very nice price....so Ill see how far I can take them

Default Are you running 3 or 4 bar?

Injectors are usually a little underrated. My 440's actually flowed a little over 450cc at 43.5 psi (3 bar)

Default I'm only running 18-19psi right now....

by my calculations, that should be good for roughly 23-24psi on a 1.8

If you're not planning on going over 23psi or so, than the 42lb Ford injectors are perfectly fine.
That's what I'm running now, but I'm not happy with only 18-19psi
I should also add that I'm running these injectors at 4 bar.

The port size won't really affect it all that much. The larger ports may make for more a few more HP in the upper RPMs.

Couple of questions for you:
What O2 voltages do you have now?
What kind of EGTs, and where is the probe located?

BTW, nice install. Is that an ATP manifold?
I wonder what that turbo would do on a 2.0, hmmm......

Default EGT's are....

750c-800c after a full run throught 1-4th (0-130ish) thats full boost for almost 30 seconds or somthing like that....thats very low in my book

prob is located in the manifold about an inch from the head
I did use an atp manifold
23 psi is about what Im shooting for...I dont think much more then that will hold up on stock bottom end...who knows how long that will hold up

Default Where are you located...

...I'm in Seymour. Tim Marren helped me out with my A4 and my Dodge CTD a number of years back. Timmy is a little hard to nail down but he knows his ****.

Default I guess no one is really sure what they are rated.

Here is 3 bar vs 4 bar rates

360cc/416cc
380cc/439cc
380cc/450cc

The other injectors used for the kits use bosch/RC 440cc injectors which run 508cc at 4 bar.
