HELP! Is a 99.5 style short shifter compatible with a 97'pushdown?
I just got my neuspeed short shifter and after talking to neuspeed they say it is compatible, how? I was trying to install it and can't get it to fit.Do I need to change things up from the directions since switching or do I just got the wrong part?

I'm not sure on the Neuspeed...
But I know that the non-pushdown UUC SS is NOT compatible with a pre my2k car. I would assume it is the same with the Neuspeed as the shifter assemblies are completely different.
