Default I am having the same exact problem

I'm getting the car serviced in a week. I had a mechanic look at it and they say I may have killed the turbo. I also have the GIAC and intake, and a borla too. Ill let you know what happens.

Default Sure it's not just the turbo buidling boost?

If there's not a loss of power i wouldn't be too worried about it.

That's normal with the LLTek intake.

Default any smoke coming out of the exhaust??

there are veins for coolant and oil to circulate. The only blown turbo I've seen was an S4 and one of the two pipes was billowing with smoke (pretty obviously too)

Default My 97 1.8t split the hose at the juction to the bpv hose, made the air leaking noise.

Rebuilt with the new assy. which is 2 parts. hose from turbo and hose to bpv, which relocates bpv.

I could only see the split after taking off the old hose, it split on the molding seams of the bpv hose where it meets the main hose.
