Default Help ... is there a performance impact of sport springs only

OK, I have to admit it ... I'm vain. I'm thinking about putting Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my 2001 A6 4.2 which has stock non-sport suspension. I must admit that it is for looks only in order to shrink the wheel well gap. I'm not a super aggressive driver (though I do like some fun here and there) and I never take the car on the track, but I'm wondering if the combination of sport springs and non-sport shocks and sway bars would lead to a safety problem in the event of high speed evasive maneuvers on the highway to avoid an accident or when taking a hard corner. In short is the current setup safer that sport springs and stock shocks/sway bars? I don't want to do something stupid and endanger myself for the sake of good looks and I don't have the $$$ to upgrade the whole setup.

Default imo the springs alone will put your stock shocks outside their operating range...

this will cause the shocks to fail soon after you put the springs on. i'd wait and do the shocks and springs together.
