Folks, the HP #'s are impressive but if you look at the torque curve, no action before 3.5K...
If you plan to drive your car to work with stop and go traffic during rush hours, you will feel that bottom end not the way it was, less torquier down there. Even the stage 1 chips of any tuner make more torque below 3.1K. This applies to the other competitor's make's Stage 3 kit too.

It is not as bad as you think. Just think of driving a chipped K03 before the 3.5K and then it all
comes in after that. Yes there is some lag but not like what you would think there is for a bigger turbo.

Well the chips are tuned on a car here in CA and he uses only pump gas which is 91.
No pinging and it does not have a fmic on it yet. He is going to finish doing the final chip and then he will start doing the higher kit that will use a fmic.

Have you compared it to the baselines in the dynos? By 2.7k it's already higher than stock or
chipped k03. We don't buy big turbos for low end torque. My stg3 has no low end problems and the T28 being a nonbb turbo will have an onset of only couple hundred rpms higher. Just because the peak torque is at 3.5k doesn't mean there's no torque before that.

Well you must remember that this is just the base kit that PES will be selling. There will be more
for the kit that runs a fmic setup. But keep your eyes open for more to come.
