How do you completely disable the esp system on a 2002 TT Quattro 1.8T
I'm not talking about pressing the switch -- i want to turn it off completely, no itervention, nothing even if this means i loose the ABS (which i what i expect anyway)
Have searched the forum (far too much crap and not enough information)
Can you pull a fuse?
Thank you for your help on this.

Is there a seperate ESP/ABS computer or are you talking about the main unit?
I need to turn the ESP off in order to conduct R&D in regards to handling.
Once the suspension, camber, castor, toe, sway bars, etc are sorted (i.e. no understeer, no snap oversteer and the handling is balanced) i can turn the thing back on.
If the handling is perfect without ESP how well do you think she will handle with it on?
A suspension workshop wishes to use my vehicle as a test bed (i get some free track time and some cool handling bits for my troubles) so they need to establish a base handling figure for the machine.
Thanks again for your assistance
