How much boost would I gain?

Hi, I am thinking about putting in an APR 1.0 bar chip in my 98' 1.8t Quattro A4. I heard that the stock A4 has 7 psi of boost. How much will this chip add? Also, is it worth the price?

you'll run about 15 psi.

GIAC or APR, you can't go wrong with either. well worth the price.

Will it be safe for the stock turbo?

I want to use the stock turbo and have the chip as teh only aftermarket mod. Will this be safe for my engine?

You should be just fine running that setup, there are a lot of people only running a chip.
