I want my K04ed 98.5 1.8t to run high 12s...

i also want it to be reliable enough to drive everyday. Dont say its impossible...I will do it. youll see. anyone wiht optimistic advice wanna help me out?
This is what ive got planned so far...

Clutch
Bigger INjectors
Cams
Pistons
FMIC
Software to run it all...
anything else?

Not possible unless you run nos or have headwork.

Don't even know if CMH will run in the 12s with his k04, and he has a 2L.

If you beat MC's old time of high 13s with a K04, that's already a good goal.....

Everything you mentioned besides cams and pistons, WYSIWYG used to run, and he ran low 14s.

APR's stage 3 with race gas able to break into the 12s

but they also had a lot of similair stuff on their car. Without NOS, I doubt a K04 could do it

You will need a 70 shot of nos or lose 1000 lbs.

Our cars weigh 3100 lbs with out the seats and spare tire. For a car that weighs that much it will need to make no less then 320 hp to run 12.9 with a 1.8 60 ft time. Your K04 is not going to make more then 250 hp so you will need a 70 shot of nos to get it up to 320 hp or remove 1000 lbs to get down to 2100 lbs to run 12.9 while making 245 hp.
