Default If I put a Shrick 272 cam on my 2.2...(m)

what kinda power advances am I going to get just by putting that cam on there? I'm not looking for blazing, wheelspinning power right off the bat. What other things can I do to that motor to squeeze out more power?

Default my 272 gave about 10-15 horses give and take

but pulled to red line like crazy, no power falls, but ldles like crap and feels like crap driving at 2k in the city.

with intake/head/exhaust work the cam should give more like 20-25 hp.

Default So, 272, or 260...I think they make a 260...

The 260 probably would be more suited to city driving, although the 272 would be nice!
