Ignition

Does anyone know how to wire up a push button or toggle switch to act as an ignition system? (don't worry, I'll end up wrecking my Lada, not an Audi)

What do you mean?

If you're trying to run a motor by pushing a button every revolution, you're going to be very tired

How to wire up a push button starter like on Lotus. Key in. Push this button to start...
