Ignition Timing
I was logging Engine block number 003 to look at my ignition timing data, after doing a timing belt change and noticed all my readings are negative. At idle I get -9 and they increase to
-35 as rpm's increase. What does a negative number mean? Advanced or Retard. This data is for actual ignition timing not Ignition timing retard found on block 20, which by the way never changed from 0 for all cylinders. Is this a normal reading or is my timing off? I have a GIAC chip in if that makes a difference.
