I'm sad.
I want to get more pep out of my 1990 80 2.0 AT
but most of the sites that I find are for MT 2.0 or similar. I'm not trying to go all out. I just want some advice on some simple things that I can do myself to help give me car a lil more pep.
So got any advice? Thanx!

Light it, set the car on fire, go to dinner, get a police report for the stolen car, call the insurance company, get your check, go buy a car that someone makes performance parts for.

Well, that automatic is your absolute biggest limiting factor.
Either swap it for a 5spd 012 so you can run some additional power w/out fearing grenading that "wonderful" 087 automatic 3spd, or get a 5cyl 80/90 with a 5spd.
You can do some things, but the benefits don't always justify the cost. You can run a cam meant for a 2.0L VW, could do a simple exhaust system, and you may be able to run one of the VW power modules offered by several companies if the VW uses a CIS-E system.

Intresting. But the insurance co. will prob only give me $1,000 for it although it is in great shape. The only thing is, I want a 95'~ A6 5spd quattro, but they cost alot unless you can find one with over 170k miles on it. Plus no one sells Audis around where I live unless its new.
