Improvements from the GIAC TipChip??
What kind of performance gains thru a 1/4 mile does the GIAC tipchip net?
I have an A6 4.2 which gets thru the 1/4 in 3rd, so I was wondering what improvement the GIAC tipchip will get me by reducing the shift times for those 2 shifts, 1-2 and 2-3.

I have the tip chip in my 2001 A4, and found a profound difference...
in the shift times. Much cleaner shifts (no more hunting and hestitating, especially downshifts). Hard pressed to say now whether one could consistently shift faster with a manual. Definitely worth the money IMO.
