Hi Everyone!,

I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP ON THE AUDI A4. The more I have torn my motor apart, the more issues I have found with L&R Racing's work. My pistons were melted, my turbo exhaust housing was leaking due to the valves blowing, my crank needed to be replaced, etc. etc. etc. After the key in the pulley broke last time I tried for the fist EC 1.8T competition, the car has bever been up and running ever since.

This has been a long time waiting. I don't want to go through bailing out on finishing this project. I have been though an E46 BMW M3 Cab and now I've moved on to a Porsche GT3.
Maybe I'm getting sick of Turbo issues with the A4,... I know I am, but I will get this thing up and running again.

My situation is such a mess right now! However, I will follow it through and finish what I started. If Mike, John Bass, Lucas are still on this site, tell me what the best 1/4 mile times are and trap speed. I'm getting Momemtum Motor Parts in Vancouver, B.C. Canada to finish my car.

Somehow, I still have this attraction for the Audi A4. I don't want to have a mid-life crisis and finish this when I'm 40!!! =P

Take care guys, I'll check in more often with updates worth mentioning. I put 3 pictures of the Porsche Carerra GT I just took in my dealership for those interested in my pictureposter here. Above is my new daily driver.

Cheers!

Default Full-race.com will be coming out with a equal length production

manifold that comes with a life time warranty. There might also be a turbo/manifold combo being sold too.

Default So far I have been running 12.7's at about 113-114 mph

here in socal. My last run at the challenge was 12.7 at 109 mph into a 15 mph wind. I will have to take the car out of town to get any good times now (since carlsbad has closed down for good) or wait till I can run at Pomona in Oct. Other plans include going up north to SAC, bakersfield and then head to some tracks on the east coast soon.

I love your Porsche GT3, this is my dream car. If u ever decided to work that bad boy, the skys the limit . But I still would like see you finish the A4, you audi2ptzero, smokingA4audi, Lucas, and ATP A4 have a very good chance of hitting 11sec's. Sorry if I didnt mention anyone who ran 12s. Wish i could see someone hit 11sec soon.

Default Thanks Steve,...

I still remember meeting you at the 1.8T challenge. I was just too bummed out emotionally to really stay into it. But how is your car doing? It was so beautiful in real life!

Default All the encouragement,...

Thanks! I always feel aweful for not meeting expectations. However, I am not a mechanic myself and thus, I don't have full control of project cars and timelines. (There are a billion and one things that will always go wrong). Then my mechanic lost interest, maybe he got stumped or who knows?! But I realize that it's all about people and the guys I am with right now are proven and I have confidence that they will get it up and running.

My goal was always for the 11's with the A4. But now I might need something more. My father will be getting his Porsche Carerra GT sometime in the next 3-6 months, and I want to race it and beat it! =P It says 10.9 sec on all the books. And after delivering the first one in my area to a customer, the sound of the engine intimidated me. It will be a good challenge and I will film it when it happens! =)
