Hey Mike

Good to hear and congrats on the great time! I'm happy for you that things finally got done. Now it's my turn to take the heat with tardy timing on completion dates etc. Keep at it and does Lucas still hold the record for times? Did he beat my trap speed? It's been a while since he broke my time record. What's his situation?

If you want one made, you might have to wait a few years. I really wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not. Unless he's got his timing together, find someone else.

Lucas still holds the fastest time

I might be taking a crack at it though very soon and maybe a E-town trip.

Lucas is building his car again, this time with a stand alone.

I have a whole new setup now.

brief list.

Schrick/Audisport mechanical cams, lifters, double valve springs
2 Liter crank
Gt30 Turbo
New manifold
External wastegate
Autronic SM2 Stand alone ECU
Autronic 500R CDI Ignition

plus other ****..

Just remember not all of us run at tracks that are equal.

Only way to compare cars is to run them at the same track, wait we just did that for the 1.8t challenge. :-)

Wow,... you're right there with 12.1 sec. What's the trap speed?

I'm staying with the 1.8L displacement. You've got one amazing car. *Bow* How streetable is it? Clutch?

Glad to hear you're sticking with the A4

I haven't made much progress with mine, still have a part throttle lean condition, that I think I've narrowed down to a bad ECU, just haven't had time to have someone solder a chip into my spare ECU.

I haven't even hit the dragstrip yet this year, my trans is making a lot of noise in 1st gear, so I'm afraid to launch it hard.

I've got a HUGE list of things that I'll be fixing over the winter, trans, new clutch, fix cracked oil pan, redo IC plumbing, etc, etc.

Nice daily driver you have there, it beats my 91 Jetta
