Just bought a used 1998 A6 2.8Q. need help with performance.
Lease on my BMW 740I was over and decided to wait for the 2002 A6. In the meantime got 98 A6 2.8Q.
What performance improments can I make to this car? I may keep this one for awhile(winter driving). Any ideas of cost and where to get these performance items . i.e. sway bars, chip, shocks, brakes anyother you can think of.
Boos system is good - no need to touch that.
Body roll around corners...BAD!
Power...help please!
Lots of scrathes..Repaint or leave the factory paint alone?
Leather showing crackes. Can use some help there.
This is my firstever used car and I want to "play" with some mods. All others were on 3 yr. leases and could notdo anything. Missed all that fun.
Thanks.

Performance mods, in order...
Driving school
Tires
Brakes (esp if ever at track or autox)
Pause...
And... Take a deep breath and decide what you like and want to change.
Then try suspension.
And, if at any point you really want to do something about the power. Go with the PES G2 supercharger kit. It's the only power mod that does anything, and it does a LOT.
