Default Just saw the new A4 on the Road.

Coming up behind it i first thought it was a 4.2 A6 with the two exhausts out the back..
Then I saw the Badge, 1.8T A4.
Hmm looked interesting...

Default Interesting? Is that good or bad? Many of the people that..

..at first didn't like the new styling on paper or in pics, liked it in the flesh....what say you?

Default No, because the A4 has lost its individuality..

The same styling across the board range of cars i do not agree with..
Like a lot of the volvos for years, it can put you off them. With the looks of the new a4, i would rather a A6 for looks.
I like the current A4 looks, hmmm new one...Every new Car looks good when new, except maybe the new WRX, that was a big backward step..
I am going to the A4 launch in a few weeks, will have another look, but i am not running out to buy one..

Default I don't see a big difference in individuality

The front of the previous A4 was almost identical to an A6 and from the rear was the same as an early 90's Accord with different taillights.

I don't see how the new A4 is any more or less individual than the last one.

Default I can't tell them apart from the front

So I guess I'm saying they look the same to me.

Default HAD A CLOSE UP OF THE NEW A4

Went to my dealer on the way home from work last friday. They had just finished detailing the first of the New A4 1.8TQ.
Must admit when I first saw the photos etc. thought they wern't much chop. But now I've had a gander at one in the flesh as it were, so to speak , to coin a phrase , I'm very impressed with the new look and build quality.
It's a shame that they've gone back to the 110Kw engine to start with, guess they will bring it back to 132 Kw later on as they add on the bits and pieces - and try to entice us into another upgrade.
Going to the official launch next week - should be a blast!
