Default K04 Question. ..........

will using a k04 be possible using a stage 1 chip. My car happens to be a CVT thus torque is limited. I just require more constant boost across the rev line. Can it just be a plug and play switch from k03 to k04. Just wondering.

You need software written for the K04 to take advantage of it.

Default agreed,but by switching to K04 using k03 .......................

Default You'll need injectors. The one for the 190 HP 1.8T BEX engine have 17% more flow.

With the extra air and a slight boost in fuel flow you might still be within ECU compensation range. You might have to make some fuel trim adaptations. You might still get a MIL. That's the fun of being a pioneer.

agreed, you are moving more air ,depending on your chip, you might run lean.
