Default Knock Sensor

I need advice from anyone who has experienced this or may know how to fix it.
My car is sputtering and hesitating. The diagnostic codes are for Knock Sensor and cylinder misfires. I am going to replace the two Knock sensors but I want to know if this is what is causing the misfire?

Default NO!

The code is for knocking, not dead knock sensors. Pull the harness plugs and check for continuity on the sensor, also chech the torque setting on the screw/bolt. The misfire is a secondary symptom. Most likely it is too low octane and too advanced timing.
