Koni Coilover Stiffness Settings....
Does anybody with Koni coilovers have the stiffness set to the lowest setting ? Any comments on the ride quality at that level ? I currently have mine set to halfway and I'm considering turning it down a bit, it's a wee bit harsh for my liking.

Mine are set to ~33-35%. I wouldn't go any higher for the street.
A friend had his set to the lowest setting and felt there was too much float. I think that 20-30% is a good setting for the street.
Also, if the kit just went into your car and it's new, you need to give the shocks and springs time to break in, but 50% for the street is probably overdamped.

I have mine set to 60%
I will be turning mine down to around 20-30%. The current 60% is too rough for street use. On smooth roads it's fine but rougher roads is definitely not enjoyable.

We went from 0 to 50%. At zero (factory setting on most shocks) the A4 rode like a Caddy....
We were working on 2 cars at that time so back to back comparison was a matter of parking the car and moving on to the next. 50% was too stiff for everyday driving because it forces the car to ride lower than normal as the shocks do not have a chance to rebound to their static height from bump to bump. 30-40% is what I recommend.

I've got mine set at the lowest settings ...
the ride is nice, a little firmer than stock, but I feel it needs to be stiffer so I'm going to try 30% as most people recommend. Handles slight bumps well, but large ones gets the car bouncy. I also have them set a bit low at 25" to the ground from the fender.

It really depends on your spring rate. Stock to street rates, like
400lb linear coils would work with a soft setting. Serious rates 600lbs and up will require more damping to handle the increase in stored and released energy.

It is fun but can get annoying at times....
I love how tight the handling is at this amount but i'm still going to change it. As far as what others cars it's close to, i'm not sure. I had a GSR with a ton of suspension work and that thing handled like a go-cart. My A4 setup is not quite as tight but is not too far off, basically because of the quattro. You're right though, it is fun on the freeway, it's really responsive with little roll at 60%. There is a cloverleaf exit I drive everyday and yet have I found anyone who can keep up with me going around it. Well actually that's not entirely true....a vette saw me accelerate past him the other day and decided to put me in my place =)
