Screw the Bullitt package.... use the money for mods.
All it really consists of is paint, wheels, badges and small interior upgrades. The HP gain is totally worthless.
My recommendations if you're going with a GT. Bassani X pipe (without cats) and Flowmaster or Bassani catback, gives a great sound, that hollowish throaty Mustang exhaust note.
LOWERING KIT. I just can't stand how high those things sit coming out of the factory, this should probably be your first mod... shocks and springs.
IRS rearend if you're going for corner carving ability. You should be able to find a cheap one that's barely used from some Cobra guys since some go to 9" rears for drag.
