Default looking for tips for storing an engine....

i have a 1.8T motor and trans that i may not be able to put into my project car until spring (or whenever i find one). what are some tips for storing an engine? i have an engine stand and was going to keep it in my garage.

Default Keep it greasy.

Default Yeah, but it says Summit Racing on it.

That's worth at least 40HP, not including all the stickers they send with each order.

Yea......just as long as they're lubed &amp; covered, depends on how long &amp; where they are.....
