Default MAF Mounting position warning.

Well my new MAF sensor failed in 1 day, doing a track event.
Reason, the ceramic finger had snapped of.
For those of you installing after market cone kits or playing around with different intake systems, The MAF sensor its self MUST be mounted VERTICAL.
Not on a angle or horizontal.
The reason is when you hit a bump, if its angled or horizontal it will transfer a shock and flex the ceramic fingers.
By Mounting Vertical "Just like in every stock position I have seen" the shock does not flex the cermamic finger.
The TAP cone mount is one unit i know it mounts the MAF on a angle.
A Replacement MAF is expensive..

Default I've been running mine at an angle for a while now....

And I live in a pothole-infested area in Michigan.

I wonder if you had a defective unit?
