Merry Christmas...Question on safety/ limp mode???

Allright, no engine light, yet my 2.7LTT after some hot driving will limit boost to 5lbs. What's up with that. I have to switch programs to get it back to stock or chip mode. Is this a safety mode or a low octane limiter. I´m in mexico right now and using an octane booster. Any ideas???

Stay in stock mode and be easy on the car.

It's probably bad gas. Do you get 9psi when in stock mode or is that limited too?

When you get a limp code from boost deviation it will just reset when you turn the key off and then

back on. But I think he said he had to change modes to get out of limp.

Just had the dealer run the VAG and found a DTC for the MAF. I'll have to run...

till I get back. It was cool though. The service advisor actually worked for Bosch in Detroit in quality control and said that the MAF is ultra sensative. There was more to it but super cool guy and conversation. He actually told me during some hard runs in my car that it ran similar speeds in his test loop the RS4 he sold a little while ago!!! What an EGO booster. I think I'm going to fall over on my head it's so big!!! hehe.
