I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on my rods and pistons, any reason you went JE piston/Pauter rod vs Eurospecs stroker kit, and what crank are you running.

I had a 2 liter motor ordered thru Eurospec but stopped that order to go with a full custom job. The shop went with JE since they are in town and were willing to make custom pistons to the shops specs, they even made the tops of the piston thicker and moved the wrist pin location. Also have to watch the skirts since the oil squirters come very close. For the 2 liter crank they went with one from IIRC a 95 VW 2 liter motor.
