<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/72921/rotors_pads.jpg"></center><p>I can't seem to get an answer from anyone on the b5 forum and stfa didn't help much except to confuse me. I just bought some red box and crossdrilled rotors how do i bed them in. Install tonight.

I installed some reds in my boxster BBK and went through half the pad material in four 60mph - 10mph passes... the last three of them the pedal went to the floor. The pad vendor thought it was the rotors but ECS told me that Mintex had a bad run of pads. Hopefully it was only the boxster fitment that was affected. Regardless, I had a similar experience w/ Reds on my stock rear brakes... but then you really can expect more than a day out of street pads at Watkins Glen. My recommendation is to return them for Hawks and follow the bedding process included w/ them. I gave up on Mintex...

ive had mintex for 20k now, thats the basic bedding in i did. no problems.
