Well a new level has been set - unfortunately...
A certain "tuner" has used "photoshopped" dyno graphs & fabricated story to make ones product look better than another product.

Beware of any posts by this person, who claims to have a "credible" source for his information, although he wont reveal the "credible" source to those involved (seems the "credible" source would not dare post himself). I have approached this professionally off line to have it resolved (including all original documentation & contact info of people who where there), but to no avail.

Anyway, look closely at all dynographs! I think this has set a new precedent - make your own graphs & display only what you want. link is below

Default What was fabricated?

Was any figures changed?
The 2 orginal dyno graphs are available and not figures or results seem to have been changed.

This is a Link to original APR Dyno Run on B6 1.8TQ
Fitted with APR Exhaust, Larger Injectors, APR chip, Forge valve, BMC Air Filter, Car on All runs was running VP103 octane (approx 105-106RON)Race gas.

This is a Link of B6 1.8TQM with GIAC Chip, Aftermarket Catback Exhaust, Stock Air Filter, Stock Valve, 98RON PUMP domestic Fuel.

Seems to me for every day fuel, the GIAC posted
a better result.

It also seems to me no results were changed or fabricated.

Seems strange you can throw low blows at others, but when it comes back to you, you cry foul, and then claim they are Fabricated and not credible, now come on, be fair.
Substantiate you claims, if not, stop making false accusations.

Yes you are right, read the graph carefully, they dont lie.

Get off you high horse and face the facts....
The point to this is that Giac car has spent less $$$ and not done somany mods ie: bigger injectors 5bar fuel pres regulator and wasnt running on 104.... and it still managed to slap your ***...
id like to see what Giac car will do to you with the same mods as you....hint hint (Eat you)hahahha

This has gone beyond and fair play and competition.
You Constantly implied other people Lie, and made accusations,
but you have resorted to desparation and totaly produced a dyno that is a lie.
Post the 2 original dyno you made this from,
if they are incorrect, you are falsely advertising.

While I understand that you take offence to Guy's post, I take even greater offence to the way you are calling another companies product ****, based purely on a dyno run.

The number one question is does GIAC and APR have happy customers? If the answer is "yes" then there is nothing wrong with either product. If a large number of the customers are unhappy and want their money back, then you can say the product is ****.

I really wish that people could sell a product based on its own merits, rather than rubbishing the oppostition (the same thing goes for the people that are using the product). It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth and makes me want to keep clear of the product they are trying to sell!

as far as i know apr was running on 104 and giac was running on normal street 98... why dont you have a run of 98 vs 98?????????
why use something else?????
Would it be fair to see lucas's beast vs stock a4?
now tell me is 104 vs 98 isnt cheating?????
but besides that whether giac had a good run or not nor whether is was 104 the dyno showed it all and APR didnt look to good

Guy why dont you post your original graphs with out modifications to it and well see it agains Giac?????

Default Thats not quite Correct.

The original post was not the worst APR run.
If you were to take that to conclusion than the worst apr run on that day with stock ship was slightly lower than worst giac run with stock chip.
But that was most likely due to larger injector running on a stock program.

It was the APR run that was running a compeditive every day street program.
Yes, there was a APR run that provided better results, which was APR's 104 Race Gas.
The APR car had VP103 Race fule in it.
So a Fair comparision is the every day street program of apr vs everyday street program of GIAC.
Is that correct or not?
Or give opportunity for GIAC car to have a Race program chip with High Ictane Race fuel.
But what interests the Public is every day street programs.
Th GIAC Does have Race programs, but we do not supply them normally, as they are useless on on Pump gas.
Who says is cheating?.
For you information, GIAC does have IBE Program switch modules that is key FOB based.
DPP programming will be released to world market in 1st quarter 2004.

Lets stick to the Facts as they are.

We can all sit on dynos all day long with all sorts of variations of non-street going programs at fuels.
But that is of no real interest to the public.
A consumer really wants to know what he is buying and what he can really expect on the product he is being sold with various claims.
