New software for cam's?

I picked up a set of Cams for my B6 1.8t.. Am i going to need software to be able to use them?? I have a Giac chip already, it is "adaptive" but i dont think it really applies in this situation..

I know peeps here have AM cams.. What did you do for software if anything at all?

Not much is going to change with the cams

idle might be a little off and since most cams for turbo cars just change the lift you will be able to flow more air at higher rpms.

you don't need new software, i have schrick on my B6..

and it works fine on my car,
so which cams did you get for your car?

Hey, Audi2ptzero, by the way, you are right. we need adjustable cam gears for the Schrick cams, it

is 2 teeth off.
