Default Short blocks measure under 24", long blocks are 24" and up

Why is anyone posting to a performance and tuning forum that doesnt know a short block from a long block - and what difference does that m,ake to the original question.
How I wish the list had more content and less giggles.

Default I think we have our definitions mixed up.

Short Block = engine without head (Bottom End)
Long Block = engine with head

This is how my Honda buddies describe it since they are always doing engine swaps.

Thats not the standard definition. Are you talkin about the 2.0 "bubble blocks" vs. standard?
