Short blocks measure under 24", long blocks are 24" and up
Why is anyone posting to a performance and tuning forum that doesnt know a short block from a long block - and what difference does that m,ake to the original question.

I think we have our definitions mixed up.
Short Block = engine without head (Bottom End)
Long Block = engine with head
This is how my Honda buddies describe it since they are always doing engine swaps.
