O.CT = Wow!
By now, most of you have seen the post about Stratmosphere's association with Oberscheider Chip Tuning in Austria.
I just installed the O.CT Stage 1 chip into my 2001 A4 1.8T and drove around the block a few times. This car has a stock exhaust and a KO3 from a 1997 A4. No other engine mods, unless you count the APR Snub mount.
First impression... wow, this thing pulls like a freight train. I was not even out of the apartment parking lot and I almost hit a parked Suburban when I tapped the gas pedal. Lots of torque, and it is immediate.
So far all I've done is a few laps around the block, nothing to radical. Tomorrow I'll find out how it pulls getting onto the freeway and merging with traffic.
A few numbers: O.CT dynos this chip at 195 HP and 207 ft-lb of torque. Butt-dyno tells me its more.
More to follow.

why did you get rid of all the APR gear? Also, the '97 K03 isn't.....
able to flow as much air as your stock '01 K03 can. I'd assume that since you have an '01 chip, you are probably overspinning the turbo/ running rich on WOT.

Not really, since the maf sensor will see that there is less air being sucked in
which will then keep the injectors closed a little bit more. What is worse is that the 97 K03 is spooling up sooner then it would on a non dbw car since the ports on the 01 head are much smaller which makes the exhaust run thru the ports at a higher rate. This means the K03 he has on the car is going to hit its max spool at a lower rpm.

Still......the turbo is flowing less air than the stock one and the software.....
"appears" to be significantly less aggressive looking that the power figures. But it feels faster than before with the bigger turbo and apr sofware?
