Hey all..
Seeing all the talk about modified K04s, has there been any research / work done to modifying a K03? Things to make it more efficient like different bearings or blade arrangement?
Is there a link to any info on the different turbos available for the A4 (like all the cool mod'ed K04s)??

Just check the archives under "K03 Sport" and you will see the problems in this. If you aren't happy with a turbo, (IMHO) buy a different turbo, it is cheaper than modifying an existing one, and a great deal more reliable.
There is no inherent problem with the K03 (just look at cmh), it is just small, period, but that is what makes it "feel" like a small V6 in that there is little-to-no lag (instant response) and most of the boost in the factory ECU program is below 4000rpm (where you do most of your driving).
