Will a K04'd 01' A4 1.8 make more hp than the earlier cars?
Since the chips are making 207 hp, will this gain translate into a few more ponies for the K04? Where is the new power coming from? Intake? It sounds like the K04 setup with GIAC software on a 2001 A4 should produce 245ish hp?? What should I expect with a supersprint exhaust (on car now)?

Not really...
...as long as you change the injectors in a pre '01 1.8T. From what I understand they are only getting the extra power from the extra headroom the 270cc injectors give them.
Dump 270cc injectors in a pre '01 car and you should get to the '01 power levels (I'll admit that VVT helps...but not 10hp worth).
