Performance chips...
Just thinking about chipping my B6 A4 1.8t, just wondering if chipping would screw anything up in my car down the road or if there were anything on the downside to chips. Also what are some good brands, thinking about GIAC or Neuspeed. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Flahsing is great!
Of course there is a downside, you will floor it more! Really it's a ton of HP for a 1.8t! You also get a lot more low end torque.
It will put higher stress on the other parts, so you got to be more mindful of boost leaks, coil packs, spark plugs & diverter valves.
My money is on REVO, you can fine tune it, & they offer stages as you upgrade the rest of the car.
