Re: PES G2 supercharger
I installed one about 2 weeks ago. The installation is fairly easy since the work area is all at the top of the engine, so nothing difficult to get to. Throttle response is greatly improved and the power increase is very impressive. I can't respond to the reliability yet, but the quality is oustanding and the guys at PES are the best to deal with, superb customer service. I highly recommend their product.

If you have to sell a spare kidney to get one.... DO IT!
The thing just hauls! I changed from the G1 kit and I LOVE this thing. I think I get more HP than I used to with G1. If you have any reservations about picking one up, email me and let me know.

THANKS YOU GUYS!!!!
Keep the messages coming, seems like I go for a G2......
BTW I started to upgrade the brakes (big reds), wheels/tires etc., think this should be the first step but exhaust will remain stock.
Any thoughts?
Just another thought, Audi torbucharged this engine but decreases bore to have larger gasket surface and thicker cylinderwalls due to higher pressures etc. I'm just a little worried that the 2.8 is not "strong enough". Any blown head gaskets, melted pistons or whatever? Seems nobody has any problems (which would be like a dream, you know....).

The engine is built like a tank.
Bullet proof. You aren't running tons of pressure, at least not enough to worry about destroying vital engine components. ANY stock NA engine can easily take this level of boost without problems. Check Corky Bell's book on Maximum Boost, it will tell you the same as well You will not have any issues with engine damage, etc.
