Default Please point me to good mail order house for ATE Super Blue Racing brake fluid?

I was going to go with the Motul 600 but it absorbs water so quickly I'd have to spend more money after the track to flush and fill with something else. A lot of people seem to be very happy with the ATE Super Blue.

Or is it at Pep Boys?

Thanks

Default Thanks for the info. What does brake fluid have to do with the clutch?

Ingorantly yours,

Ivan

They share the same reservoir.

Default Go with Motul

I've never had any of the "absorb water" problems you speak of with Motul. I never have to completely flush the system after the track. You should always bleed your brakes frequently, regardless of the fluid.

I'm not a big fan of ATE's fluid. You can add me to the list of those who had clutch problems. I did replace both my clutch master and slave cylinders after having ATE Super Blue in the system. This was on my A4. These days I run either Motul 600 or SRF in the S4.

This only seems to be an A4/S4 problem. Not a problem in any TT with Super Blue

I wouldn't risk it if I owned a TT...it screwed up my A4.

Default I have had ATE in my TTQ since Feb '00, over 20,000 miles and not a problem.

I am not the only TT with ATE in it either. Keep in mind that the TT has a VW system and maybe the Audi system is different? Just a guess.
