Question about Chips
Hey guys. I just got my Audi in October, and I'm fairly new to any sort of mod stuff.
I just found a product out there called a chip. It says it can give me a 75 hp boost, while also increasing my mpg 15-20.
First, is this thing safe, and are there any cons of getting it?
2nd, how much should it cost. Cuz the one I found on eBay seems a little cheap to be effective.
3rd, is it difficult to install?

before you get hounded... try the search feature and look around
or better yet check out the B5 A4 Forum FAQ
APR and GIAC have great, reliable chips...install should be done by a professional, unless it comes with an ECU. A chip will give you abotu 50hp though....not 75.
