Default RAD69 or others with V band clamps

Anyone know where I can find some 3" and 2.5" weld on V-Band Adapters?

I looked around on ATPs site and it is pretty limited

TIA

Default What are you talking about? I have their flanges on my car

for over a year now and they are not thin and did not warp when they welded them.

Default Re:Im sure the flange have been re-sanded back flat....

but you wouldn't know since you didnt do any of the work yourself. Once metals been heated to a certain temp. it looses its strength characteristics. I'm just saying the everyday joe or exhaust shop would burn that flange up good leading to warping especially on turbo setups. But once again you have never welded in your life so this may not be your area of expertise. Just trying to warn the consumers out there.

Default uummm it isnt like you are welding in free space... it slips over a tubing...

therefore for it to warp it would have to loose hoop strength

Default I didn't do the work, but I have all the parts right here.

As WJM said, the vband slides over the tube and then you weld the 2 together. If you want I can show you pics of the vbands on my HFC, race pipe, dp and exhaust if you want. They were all done by Full-race using the vbands they sell.
