Default RS4 Intercooler Mod???? Is this possible? A straight bolt in?

Anyone know if it is possible to buy a RS4 intercooler and bolt is straight into a 1.8TQMS?

Would be super cool if this was possible - It looks as though there is enough room for it to fit

Anyone know what is involved?

Default I dont think that IC will be good enough for that K04 your thinking to run.

That turbo even heated up the EVO fmic under a S4 bumper. The turbo just produces too much hot air and needs a very good FMIC to keep the temps down by the time it gets to the manifold.

Default GJaime has just installed one in his 2000 APR stage 3 car

not sure about his impression, but it takes a fair amount of cutomizing/cutting to make it fit. I think it's about 50% bigger volume wise than the stock SMIC. I think it's like 1900cc to 3100cc give or take. It costs about $400 or so. I'm interested to see if it helps much, but I think I'd rather get an FMIC for more volume and the asthetics.
