Saw a peak of 17psi today ...MTM Stage 1 chip...more
anyone else seen this with the MTM or others?? I'd never seen a peak higher than 15....and at WOT it always has stabilized at 14. i've only had the car since christmas...so i've only driven it in cold (50F or colder) weather. today it was 70 degrees! that's the only thing i can think of that would make a difference. i saw 17 psi a few times (just for a second)...in 3rd and 4th at WOT....then it stabilized between 15 and 16. never seen it that high. was it the warm weather that contributed to these boost peaks?? just curious...thanks...

It is normal...
Boost is dependent on a number of factors, such as temp, load, etc. In warmer weather, when air is less dense, it will boost higher to achieve the correct volume of air needed to match the fuel.

Both the GIAC and APR street chips see 20 psi spikes and settle at 16psi. I use a GIAC race chip
that can see a spike as high as 24psi in 3rd,4th and 5th gear if I am near 3000 rpms and go WOT and then it sticks at 20psi till 5000 rpms.
