Default little things...

you will need a new BPV... the OEM one is weak... and won't last too long on a k04... or even a chipped k03... You can get the BPV from the TT engine for $30, which won't last suepr long... or get a nice one from evo, bailey, forge, etc for ~$150... the BPV does exactly what the BOV does, except it vents back to the intake track (as the ECU expects)

the more torque you have, the more you will accelerate the wear on the engine mounts. I upgraded to the engine mounts off the heavier 2.8 v6... about $30 x 2, so 60 for that...

you also will liekly benefit from a new snub mount (the engine mount that attaches the front of the engine into the radiator support... $50 at apr....

you will likely need a bit of minor maintenence too... any and all 1.8Ts should have the timing belt and tensioner replaced around 60,000, regardless of what teh dealer tells you (audis are direct interference engines, bend valves if the timing belt snaps...)... that is about $150 in parts and a decent amount of labor... you may also want to ensure your vacuum lines are fine, etc... hoses, little stuff... otherwise they can be bigger things down the road...

Aside from the timing belt, other stuff is kinda cheap...

I just want to be sure you don't buy all the parts at once... to ensure you have cash if you need it...

I would do chip-suspension-exhaust-rims/tires-intercooler... and save for a t28 or apr stage 3....

but if you are bent set on k04 before a standard chip... then do suspension-exhaust-turbo-rims/tires-intercooler...

Gotcha thanks for the heads up ok so thats fine i'll prolly go with your idea of chip-suspension-exhaust-rims/tires-intercooler... and save for a t28 or apr stage 3....

But you said intercooler before the turbo kit??
so even the stock turbo is a good idea to intercool?

for suspension im going coilovers i wanna be able to pass inspection every year

Is it a bad idea to get the stuff for the turbo now before getting it? in another words the bpv and such could i get that now, my thing is i dont want to force the stock engine in anyway.

Cause i know how touchy they can be.

And chip would you recomment TAP, Witt or Giac?

Now we move to body will the S4 front bumper fit no probs on a 1999.5 - 00" audi or major mods will need to happen?

Default chip wise...

it has been covered... if you are thinking of getting the PES t28 kit, I think you get is discount if you already have a GIAC chip from PES... look into that...

the 2 major players are APR and GAIC.... both are good unit... and REALLY close in performance.

The stock a4 turbo engine can take a lot... maintence is key... but it can handle boost pretty well...

front bumper... S4 bolts right up, no mods needed. do a search on that on the A4 forum... actually, search for the a4 forum FAQ... that has a list of all the part numbers you will need... you do NOT need new bumper shocks, regardless of what the dealer tells you.

Default ideas on what else to buy?

oh the list goes on... but suspensions are really good. I would say get out to a few audi autox's before you do suspension and see what the fast guys are running... you should get a good feeling of what is out there...

The thing is this, i wont be auto'x or anything it will be a daily driver i loved my preludes suspension and all i did was add some Tein Coilovers and i was in love.....

So suspension wise i dont need anything drastic.

Will s4 tailights fit the a4's.

And for full fascia kits im thinking the s4 front, i see it fits with no issue great but the audi sides, i noticed some kits wont cover that black part ?!?! so what can i do to eliminate that?

What kit would cover it or at least take it off to replace it with something else.

Default no kit covers it... either paint, remove, or replace..

replace from dealer or lltek...

the s4 taillights are the same as 99.5+ A4 taillights... euro taillights however have amber turn signals.
