Default Dyno a Quattro, Linked or not

Hello everyone, First day, First post. I own a 2014 Q5 TDI. I'm shortly going to be taking my Audi in for the 3 liter fix. The settlement states that they must not deviate more than 3% off stock in HP, Torque and milage. Those numbers may not be exact but they definitely have a pretty tight window. I want to establish a baseline on my car so I'll know if they were successful. To do it I need a dyno but I don't know if I need a linked one (front and rear mechancally linked ) or not. It's a big deal as cars can break on the wrong dyno. Anyone know?
