Stage three problems resolved.
Well, with the help of Pro_mtn_biker, Mathew Martin, Mike Hood, System_S4K, MCH_2.7T and Autoworks Colorado, my car is finally running like it should.
I ended up putting in a new MAF sensor and cleaning the original injectors that had 135K miles on them. Pro_mtn_biker and I took some readings with his wideband O2 sensor and everything looked very solid. No more peaks or valleys in the a/f ratio, and it's exactly where it should be.
One thing I found to be strange, was I get the same air flow readings with the new MAF as I did with the old MAF, but that was the key to improving the air/fuel mix. Hell, who cares? It's running right and that's what matters. At idle it's 2.5 g/s and at WOT it's 153 max.
System_S4K, my altitude correction in Highlands Ranch was 18%. That makes sense if yours was 27% at 8,000 feet. Everything seems perfect.
Hood, the figures you sent me for engine load must be different between non-DBW and DBW, because they look the same now as the did before. No problems there. I'm guessing the altitude can account for the MAF differences between here and there.
In a week or two I'll go dyno to get some numbers and post then.
