Default Suspension height

I have a 1999.5 A4 1.8tqm with an MTM stage II setup.

If I want a 1-1.5 inch drop from sport, which springs will get me there (currently its a non-sport)? I would love to see a link to some sort of a comparison if one exists. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be glad to listen. I've already done a bunch of searches but my eyes are starting to hurt and I'm still a little unsure. Also, the car is a daily driver and it will never see the track, so ride quality is an issue, thanks in advance.

FYI, incase anyone is curious, I am thinking of using Koni shocks and have already purchased a set of used A8 wheels and new SO3's. I'm aware of the fact that the A8 wheels may look a little "sucked-in" given the width and offset difference, but I'll give it a try and if it looks funny to me I'll put on some spacers after the fact.

Thanks again, you guys are great

Default Try Koni coilovers

Adjustable coilovers can give you the exact ride height you desire. Just a matter of adjusting the spring plates to achieve the desired height. I have Koni coilovers and have spent a great deal of time adjusting to get the desired height and shock dampening. If you are not interested in "playing" with these settings I would stick to a good spring/ shock combo.

BTW, "adjustable" koni shocks have to be removed from the car to be adjusted.

Default Since you already have the shocks

You really don't have any options to go that low.
H&R race will go about 1" from sport.. You don't have many options to go lower, other than get Coilovers, or the Neuspeed Bilstein shocks with H&R race.
