TO4B and TO4E info if this helps anyone.

T04b is too small and has a small inlet.
Full T04E is good if you dont mind hitting 20psi till 5,000-5500 rpms. I have seen a few 2G dsm guys running a Full T04b and running mid 12's at the CA speedway.

How nice... but i didnt ask what you owned. but in that case...
I've owned a 1st gen turbo eclipse, a 2nd gen eclipse...and built the N/A motor to take out every GST & GSX it came across including at Pomona's dragstrip DSM meet... and built a turbo nitrous 2nd gen GST all running consistant low 13's. All total daily drivers too, w/o huge shop sponsors and all tuned with my own 10 digits.
BUT...I havent used any T04B's, to say i know much about their tiny inlet, nor have I run 12's in the eclipses or my audi, but having done T3/T4 turbo kits on eclipses and mr2's as well, i'm not a complete stranger to the turbo scene.
Now, besides your statement that the inlet is very small and a GSX is so fast and furious, why is that such a bad choice? It's still bigger than a T28 isnt it?
