If it had, I'd have gotten the 2.8 instead

http://www.eiptuning.com/turbo.html</a

Default That is nice stuff.

I was going to get the 330hp kit for my VR6 Passat but I wrecked it. (sniff) But that got me into an A4 and now I'm happy again.

Default OMG

Those guys are making TONS of power!

Is there an AWD chassis that runs the VR6 motor or do they make stuff for the Audi 2.8?

That one guy was running 11s at the drag strip.

I already have a high power (albeit naturally aspirated) fwd car, so everything from now on will be RWD or AWD.

Take care,

Curious, what work you have on the GSR?

There's more than power; try reliability and customer service. Not at EIP.

Default I wouldn't trust EIP farther than I could throw them...

They have a VERY despicable past as far as customer service. Most of the reputable VW tuners WON'T do business with them b/c EIP screwed them out of thousands in product.

I bought used EIP turbo kit for my old Corrado Vr6 and it was actually a decent kit hardware wise. However the chip tuning and fuel management left alot to be desired. All the additional feuling was left up to a Cartech rising rate fpr, the chip just dialed back timing. Did it work? Well, yes, but it was hardly elegant and a more efficient way could definately been done.

Default I just recently heard this...

I was more interested in the hardware anyway; get their kit,
and let Garrett do a custom chip for it.

Default *OT* my GSR and DFH~Decal Free Hondas

Hi,

I have a 95 GSR sedan. Me and my informal "club" DFH~Decal Free Hondas kind of have an anti-rice mentality. I have clear corners and fog lights, but every other mod has been for power. Check out the very dated web site for more info. One of us is working on a new and improved page, but I think development is pretty stalled. Guess that's what happens when you're informal, heh.

My GSR is all motor. I had a 75 HP N20 Plate kit before, along with Civic Type R cam, Intake, Exhaust, Header, ignition, pullies, etc. Car made 173 HP and 124 TQ to the wheels on the motor (never dynoed on the spray but approx 225 at the wheels). N20 kit is gone now. keep in mind my car weighs about 2600 lbs or so.

I did not drive the car at all in 2000. Burnt a valve on the N20. Anyway, while it's been down, I put new pistons, new rings, bearing, balanced bottom-end, bigger cams (Toda B spec), SS oversize valves, Single plane manifold, tighter final drive, KAAZ clutch type LSD, etc. Car should put down about 200 HP at the wheels and I'm shooting for sub 14 second 1/4 mile on street tires. My main thing is local autoxes in DMOD.
