Default Toronto or Western NY tuner

When I lived in Toronto in the past I had all my work done in Detroit at Vortrag (no longer in business). When I was in Vancouver I went to HPA (great guys!) Now I'm back in Toronto and looking for recommendations on where to have performance work done. Help!

For instance: brakes

Question: could an Audi dealer be depended upon to install aftermarket brakes?

Default Check out TDL Racing

My car's there as we speak. Give them a call and ask to speak with Lloyd.

I think they have some Alcon's left and just became a StopTech distributor.

TDL Racing Link

Default Four Star Motorsports in Georgetown, Missisauga

Jason,

These are the only people I would trust in Toronto(Frank and Dan Sprongl). They are definitely not cheap but their workmanship is excellent - you can see examples of their work at www.fourstarmotorsports.com

BTW, they installed and fabricated the downpipe / exhaust to mate up with a TO4E/K26 turbo on my old A4.

Tks,
J

Default I know of a couple of places

Pfaff autowerks in newmarket are good for installing aftermarket stuff. They did my Race suspension and downpipes. They are also doing an RS4 conversion on my car at the moment. Jeff is a good guy and has racing experience in the ALMS driving a Porsche. I also do a lot of the mods myself and installed my Alcon brakes myself.

Default Holy crap! RS4 conversion?

Is it actually the RS4 engine/turbos etc? How did you get your hands on that sucker?

Very nice...you should come out to a meet here in TO when it's done, we'd all love to see your car.

Check us out at groups.yahoo.com, search for "audigt" (greater toronto audi list). It's an email list we all are part of.

Default Re: Holy crap! RS4 conversion?

I was referring to the body panels. However, it has upgraded clutch/flywheel, bi-pipe, RS4 intercoolers and will have upgraded turbos in the future.
