Default Tubro Timer

I purchased a 2002 Sub WRX with a Blitz Dual Turbo Timer DCII already installed. When I reach speeds of 70 mph or more the check engine light comes on. Subaru here looked at it and said the other turbo sensor is still in the vehicle and they have no idea why the timer causes the check engine light to come on. The turbo system and sensor all checked out perfect. Any ideas or know someone I can talk to? Thanks
