Default tubular manifold...

anyone know a company that actually produces them for the 1.8T's or do you need to get a custumn job done? i wanna do k04 and i know the factory manifold produces heat issues with the k04 cause it cant flow fast enough so i wanna maximize the power. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Default The only company that I know of is....

.....ATP. However, the flange is a four bolt pattern, not a three like the KO4, and would reorient the turbo. What does that mean? Alot of custom work.

Why not just get a ported manifold from SPP? It increases ithe inner diameter of the stock manifold by almost 3/8" on the head side and 1/8" on the turbo side. The overall weight of the manifold is reduced from 8 lbs. to 5 lbs.

Did something happen or do you just have a spare engine laying around?

Default well....

I considered that, but I am about to start construction on a new home and I really want my car back and on the road asap, so a 2.0 isn't the best option for me right now.

Default because equal length tubular manifold...

is much better at disipating the heat and allows for much better flow. while at waterfest i talked to the sporttech (spelling???) people and they said that after putting the tubular manifold onto their k04 project b6 they pumped out an additional 29hp over the stock manifold. and the tubular manifold just looks so gorgeous in the engine bay
