Turbo issue
Hi guys just in need of some advice on my Audi TT 225 2000 plate
Basically if I floor it most of the times the turbo kicks in and last all through the revs but as I de accelerate to change gear there is this strange noise like a hair dryer, it only last abit 1.5 seconds and sometimes the turbo comes in but then drops right of quickly and way before it should. I've checked all the obvious like the engine oil and checked all the pips under the bonnet for leaks/breaks but can see nothing obvious,
Can anyone relate to this and maybe shed any light I would be very appriciative

What RPM should the turbo kick in? It feels kinda jerky to me, but then I've never owned a turbo bef
