Turbo Timer compatability
I wanted to put a Turbo Timer on my 01 A4.
I stopped by a wiring shop this week, they told me they didn't think it could be done because a Chip in the key would shut down the car if it wasn't in the ignition.
So I stopped by the local dealer, they made some calls and did a little checking around but couldn't come up with an answer for me.
Soooooo...Could anybody here offer me any input as to whether this is possible without having to get to complicated with a bunch of extra wiring?

Re: Chip in the key? I dont think we have that in our keys
I pointed that out to him, he claimed the chip was in the ignition and read off the cut of the key, It didn't sound right to me.
He also claimed I'd need bigger wires on the T.Timer (I had it w/me "Greddy") to run it into the ignition wires.
Like I said, sounds a little screwy, so I'm going to get another opinion elsewhere.
